Jennie of BLACKPINK showcased her commanding presence through a new pictorial and candid interview with fashion magazine Dazed Korea for its June issue in collaboration with Chanel.
After unveiling three different June issue covers on May 19, Dazed Korea released additional pictorial photos on May 22. The pictorial was planned ahead of the upcoming Chanel 2026 Métiers d’Art collection show, which will be held in Seoul on May 26.
Jennie reinterpreted Chanel’s pieces through her own distinct style, solidifying her status as more than just the brand’s muse and establishing herself as a modern-day fashion icon.
In the newly revealed photos, Jennie flawlessly pulled off a wide range of styles, from classic black suits to avant-garde hairpieces. The bold black-and-white cuts, blending dreamy yet rebellious moods with androgynous charm, vividly captured the many facets of Jennie’s image.

Dazed described Jennie as “someone lovely but not safe, beautiful but not submissive,” highlighting the unrivaled aura she has built for herself.
Through the interview, Jennie also spoke about her deep connection with Chanel and her more mature outlook. She shared, “At first, it was a process of learning and accepting the brand’s symbols and stories, but now I think I’ve gained a deeper understanding of Chanel and can naturally interpret and express it in my own way.”

She also candidly discussed her approach to life, saying, “The positive response came as a result of always doing my best within the moments and opportunities I was given and thinking deeply about everything.” She added, “I naturally came to realize that my choices and stories can influence more people.”
Jennie continued, “Rather than being shaken by outside noise, I try to focus more on my own emotions and standards,” demonstrating her strong sense of self-belief.
Meanwhile, Jennie expressed excitement for the upcoming Chanel Métiers d’Art show in Seoul, saying, “It’s a meaningful show being held in Korea for the first time in a while, so I’m really looking forward to it.”
