An Yeong-mi to deliver second son in South Korea in July; husband flying in from U.S.

Comedian An Yeong-mi will give birth to her second son via cesarean section in South Korea this July. This time around, she's staying put—no repeat of her 2023 U.S. delivery.

Her husband, currently working in the United States, plans to fly back to Korea for the birth. On June 21, An Yeong-mi announced her maternity leave on SNS: "I will give birth safely and healthily and return."

She married a non-celebrity in 2020. When her first son was born in the U.S. in 2023, she was direct about the setup: "How could I do this precious pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare alone? I must do it with my beloved husband." She was with her husband then, too.

She's stepping away from her MBC FM4U radio show 두시의 데이트 안영미입니다 (Two O'Clock Date with An Yeong-mi) for now. Broadcasting resumes after the delivery.
