Kim Moo-yeol on You Quiz: 200,000 won in a year, John Cena shout-out, and a tearful letter from wife Yoon Seung-ah

Kim Moo-yeol is headed to You Quiz on the Block. A preview of his appearance dropped at the end of the June 24 tvN broadcast, with the full episode set to air December 1 at 8:45 PM.

He talks about receiving a shout-out from professional wrestler John Cena — his explanation: "We look alike." Behind-the-scenes stories from Cham Gyoyuk come up. His friendship with Heo Nam-jun too. And what it felt like when neighbors finally told him he looked cool. "For the first time in 10 years, I heard neighbors say I look cool," he said, laughing.

The preview also teases a video letter from his wife, actress Yoon Seung-ah. She appears on camera saying, "Oppa, we've been together for such a long time." It's described as a tearful message.

Then there's the number that will stop people mid-scroll: 200,000 won. That's what Kim earned across an entire year during his unknown-actor period. During Cham Gyoyuk filming, he worked out through every break. "If there was something to hang onto, I definitely hung onto it."

Cham Gyoyuk released on Netflix on the 5th and hit No. 1 on Netflix's Global Top 10 (non-English) four days after release. It held that position for two consecutive weeks. The show currently ranks 6th among all Korean Netflix series ever. Based on a webtoon of the same name, it follows a government authority created to protect South Korea's education system from students, teachers, and parents who have crossed the line.
