Lisa and Frédéric Arnault breakup rumored after Vanity Fair report; no statement from either side

Vanity Fair's summer issue, out June 23, ran a cover story titled The Life of a K-Pop Showgirl claiming BLACKPINK's Lisa and Frédéric Arnault "seem to have now called it quits." The magazine's evidence: Arnault didn't show up to Lisa's 29th birthday party in Bali in March.

Before the interview, Lisa's representatives told the publication to skip questions about her private life and relationships. She didn't bring up any relationship during the conversation. Neither Lisa nor Arnault has said anything about the breakup reports.

An industry official noted the two have faced dating and marriage rumors repeatedly but "have never officially acknowledged them even once." The same silence would hold here, they said.

Their connection went public in November 2022 when Arnault attended a BLACKPINK concert in Los Angeles and posted: "It was a really wonderful evening. Congratulations and see you soon in Paris." Dating rumors took off in 2023 and, with no official word, became accepted industry gossip.

Arnault is the fourth son of LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault. He joined TAG Heuer in 2017, became its CEO in 2020, and was promoted to CEO of LVMH's watch division earlier this year.

Lisa's 2026 has been relentless. She performed at the 2026 North and Central America World Cup opening ceremony in Los Angeles on June 12 (the first K-pop female artist to do a live performance at the event). She expanded into acting through HBO's The White Lotus. On June 22 she posted a photo of a rare Ferrari Testarossa captioned "MY NEW BABY," estimated at several billion won. She'd already bought a 7.5 billion won single-family home in Seongbuk-dong with cash.
