Netflix thriller 'Montage' (2013): Um Jung-hwa, Kim Sang-kyung, Song Young-chang lead the cast

Director Jung Geun-seop's 120-minute thriller Montage hit theaters May 16, 2013. It's now streaming on Netflix.

Um Jung-hwa, Kim Sang-kyung, and Song Young-chang carry the film. Jo Hee-bong, Yu Seung-mok, Jung Hae-gyun, Park Chul-min, Ki Ju-bong, Lee Jun-hyuk, Tae Won-seok, Oh Dae-hwan, and Song Min-ji round out the cast. The film drew 2,095,592 viewers and holds a Naver rating of 8.56.

Um Jung-hwa was born August 17, 1969 in Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do. She debuted in 1992 with the film Windy Day in Apgujeong-dong and has worked as both an actress and singer. Her brother is actor Um Tae-woong. She won the Best Acting Award in Mid-length Drama at the 2023 Seoul Con A-Pan Star Awards and the Women's Excellence Award in the Music & Talk category at the 2020 MBC Entertainment Awards for What Do You Do When You Play?

Kim Sang-kyung was born June 1, 1972. He graduated from Chung-Ang University's Department of Theater and debuted in 1998 with the MBC drama Addict. (Two decades-plus in Korean film and TV.) At the 2014 KBS Acting Awards, he won Best Acting Award in the Long-form Drama category and Best Couple Award.
