Secret returns after 12 years; former member Gowri cheers comeback from her third trimester

Secret is back — 12 years later, with a new lineup — and a former member is one of their loudest supporters.

The group released the special mini album Secret Flavor on June 18. Four days later, Gowri posted on her personal account: "Secret will thrive," alongside a photo taken while visibly in her third trimester.

She kept going. "I keep humming the song. For prenatal education, it's Secret's song" and "ice cream challenge with the lucky charm" — a nod to the group's ongoing fan engagement series. (Prenatal education via a K-pop comeback is genuinely unprecedented.)

Gowri married a businessman five years her senior in 2022 and is currently pregnant with a son.

Since the comeback, Secret has been running the "ice cream challenge" and other content to connect with fans. Her posts drew responses like "Our unnie's loyalty is the best," "pretty," "Gowri overflows with pure beauty and elegance," and "I feel good seeing Secret and Gowri having fun together."
