Seo Ye-ji parts ways with Sublime after 2 years, now a free agent

Seo Ye-ji is a free agent. Her exclusive contract with Sublime expired recently, ending a partnership that began in 2024—about two years in total.

The split comes as the actress works to rebuild her career following a 2021 controversy involving actor Kim Jung-hyun. Allegations of gaslighting, school violence, and academic credential forgery emerged at the time, and she halted activities. Her TV comeback through the drama Eve did not meet expectations. Most recently she appeared in the stage play Ode to My Father (사의 찬미), her first full return to acting in four years.

She traveled to Bali, Indonesia on February 3, 2025 for a photo shoot, departing through Incheon International Airport. No new agency has been announced.
