Seo Yu-jeong reveals she separated from ex-husband when daughter was 8 months old

Seo Yu-jeong disclosed that she and her ex-husband began living separately when their daughter was just 8 to 9 months old. She made the revelation on the YouTube channel 유정 그리고 주정 in a video titled 매출 80억 CEO 현영의 뼈 때리는 조언, posted on June 25.

"I had so much hatred toward my ex-husband — it was agonizing," she said. The birth had come during the COVID-19 pandemic, shortly after the couple relocated to Songdo. She had no friends or acquaintances nearby.

Seo Yu-jeong spent roughly three years in Songdo wanting to leave. Then her perspective shifted. After her daughter started elementary school, she came to see the area differently. Songdo has child-focused amenities the way Apgujeong has plastic surgery clinics. The realization brought guilt over having left.

Guest Hyunyoung (현영) kept it light. "Then come to Songdo and hang out with me," she said. "You're welcome anytime."
