Shin Min-ah's pregnancy rumors resurface after Kim Woo-bin attends her film VIP screening

Pregnancy rumors are swirling around Shin Min-ah again. Kim Woo-bin showed up unannounced at the VIP screening of her film 눈동자 (Pupil) on June 15 at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul, and the internet noticed.

The couple went public in 2015 and married after a decade together. They'd already weathered similar speculation last November during a Hong Kong event held just before their marriage announcement. Their agency denied it then: "Pre-marital pregnancy is not true."

At a press interview on June 16, Shin Min-ah didn't shy away from explaining his visit. "He is currently filming and is very busy. Yesterday was the first time I saw him in a long time," she said. Kim Woo-bin came mid-shoot, caught the screening, skipped the after-party, and headed straight back to set. His take on the film: "You don't need to worry."

She'd basically insisted he be there. "I actually told Kim Woo-bin that he really had to be there." (Ten years of dating and a cancer diagnosis in 2017—when Kim Woo-bin paused his entire career—apparently buys you that kind of leverage.)

On balancing work and marriage, she was blunt: "My desire for work remains the same, regardless of marriage. We don't consult each other on project choices — we each think and decide separately." Her next project is a melodrama. She's already filming 수목금 and 재혼황후 (Remarriage Empress), the latter centered on a husband with a mistress.

In 눈동자, Shin Min-ah plays a dual role: photographer Seo Jin, who is losing her sight to a genetic disease and investigates her twin sister's death, and the twin sister Seo An. The film opens June 24.
