Sim So-young shares night-out photo as 'Unknown Seoul' run continues

Sim So-young posted a photo on June 14. She stood in front of a yellow taxi on a city street, lit by a streetlamp at night. Her caption: "밤 마실" — a casual Korean phrase for a nighttime outing.

The 31-year-old is currently appearing in the tvN drama 미지의 서울 (Unknown Seoul) as Lee Hyo-kyung, an employee in the planning and strategy division of a financial management corporation. Her previous tvN role was Lee Na-yoon, an architectural office worker, in 엄마친구아들 (Mom's Friend's Son).

Sim debuted as a model through the 2015 S/S Seoul Fashion Week and won the Fashion Model Newcomer Award at the 2017 K-Model Awards. On screen, she played Dasul in the 2023 film 스트리머 (Streamer). She appeared as a bride in MBC's 무한도전 - 웨딩 싱어즈 (Infinite Challenge - Wedding Singers) and on variety shows 라디오 스타 and SNL 코리아 시즌9.

Her music video credits include Yu Se-yoon's 중2병, GD&TOP's 쩔어, Jung Dong-ha's 오! 사랑, and Hoody's Like You. She has also worked on travel and lifestyle programming: 포토피플 인 파리 (photography and travel) and 원나잇 푸드트립 시즌 3 - 언리미티드 (food and travel). Earlier this year, she performed in the play 결혼전야 (Wedding Eve) at Daehangno, which opened January 16.
