fromis_9 drop second studio album 'Glow ME', first in 3 years

fromis_9 dropped their second studio album Glow ME on July 21. Three years had passed since Unlock My World (2023).

The album spans 10 tracks: Vitamin ME, ETERNAL, Pocket Treat, Blue Heart, Screen Time, Teacher, Cold Blood, Why do I cry?, DAY 1, and Wonderland. Every member wrote on the record. The concept treats the album as a journey toward discovering a "shining self"—excitement, courage, and comfort from new relationships and experiences as fuel for personal growth.

Vitamin ME opens with a Latin-influenced rhythmic groove and an addictive melody. It's positioned as a summer track, built to give listeners an energy boost when they need it most.

The group isn't starting from scratch. Last year's sixth mini-album From Our 20's sent its title track LIKE YOU BETTER into the upper tier of the Melon Top 100 for three consecutive weeks after release. (Three weeks of sustained charting on Melon matters for a group outside the top-tier agency machine.) Glow ME is their first full-length since then, and Ascend has the group heading into a full summer promotional run.
