RESCENE's Won-i tears up talking first settlement on 'Salon Drip' preview

RESCENE's Won-i broke down in tears on a preview for episode 150 of Salon Drip, Theo's YouTube talk show, after being asked what she'd do with her first settlement money. "I want to buy my mom beef once," she said. "I want to buy it when I earn money."

The preview dropped at the end of episode 149, uploaded to Theo's YouTube channel on the afternoon of July 21. Won-i and Minami are the guests for episode 150. When asked later why she cries so often, Won-i deflected with a laugh: "Do people cry more as they get older?"

Minami had her own moment. Asked why she joined the agency, she answered, "I was just deceived by the CEO's words" — then quoted the pitches she received: "I will make you BLACKPINK," "I will make you TWICE," "I will make you BTS." Won-i added that the CEO had previously run a kids' cafe.

The episode comes at a high point for the group. RESCENE debuted in March 2024. On the 14th, they took their first-ever music broadcast win on SBS Life's The Show with their remake single Pretty Girl, released on the 8th. They also ranked 1st in the Pundex week 3 of July TV·OTT non-drama appearance topic ranking through their appearance on MBC's Omniscient Interfering View.
