V drops 28-sec Paris dance TikTok — 9.7M views in 21 hours as BTS hits Stade de France

V posted a 28-second dance video to his TikTok account (@tete) on July 16. The caption: "Lights off!" Within 21 hours, it had 9.7 million views, 4.8 million likes, roughly 97,000 comments, and over 323,000 shares.

The clip was shot in Paris with a six-person crew that included dancer and video creator Dyson Campbell, all tagged in the post. On screen: dancers in matching white outfits running choreography built around restrained footwork and spinning movements.

Jungkook dropped into the comments with "When did you film this ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ" — that comment alone pulled around 600 likes.

Ten days earlier, V had crossed 75 million followers on his personal TikTok on July 6, becoming the first male K-pop idol to hit that number. He reached 70 million in January; the additional 5 million came roughly six months later. Globally, he is the sixth male musician of any genre to reach 75 million TikTok followers. Fan data account @BTSVChartData noted he is "the first and only K-pop male artist to achieve this record" and reached the milestone faster than anyone else in K-pop history.

The Paris backdrop matters. BTS plays Stade de France on July 17 and 18 — the final European dates of their world tour ARIRANG, a 79-show run spanning 34 regions. It is the group's first time in Paris since 2019.
