VAYONN debuts with 'MUAH!' — Kim Jae-joong's six-member group charts in China days after June 6 release

VAYONN dropped their debut album on June 6. The title track is MUAH!

The five-track project hit No. 2 on both Hanteo's daily album chart and Circle Chart's retail daily rankings on release day. MUAH! climbed China's QQ Music chart from day one, while also landing top spots on Douyin's trending chart and hot issues section.

The group spans four countries. Mano is Korean. Masato, Sen, and Teru are Japanese. Ayang and Jinwei are Chinese. Most came from the Mnet audition show Boys Planet.

Kim Jae-joong penned the lyrics to Super Lucky Song, the album's opener. The fan track Where My Youth Lives was co-written by all six members.

Beyond the charts, VAYONN landed the cover of SKY SHOP, the in-flight duty-free magazine for a major domestic airline. They're also the campaign face for casual brand Meme the Wardrobe's 2026 launch. A large-scale debut exhibition ran at Incheon Airport's HiKR STATION through June 20. (A group with four non-Korean members hitting China first isn't shocking, but the velocity is worth tracking.)
