Baby DONT Cry's Ihyeon and Beni Are Now the Faces of VDL

Fifth-gen girl group Baby DONT Cry just landed their first major beauty deal — members Ihyeon and Beni are the new ambassadors for Korean color cosmetics brand VDL, announced by their agency P-Nation on February 15.

The campaign centers on two products: VDL's bestselling Cover Stain Perfecting Foundation and Cushion, and a new launch — the Cheek Stain Cream Blusher. The look VDL is pushing is what they're calling a "peach makeup" — smooth, even skin with a soft, warm flush. Ihyeon and Beni were picked specifically because that aesthetic maps directly onto how both members are already perceived visually: clear skin, warm undertones, the kind of face that makes blush look like it grew there.

The ambassador pairing makes sense beyond just visuals. P-Nation positioned Baby DONT Cry as a Zalpha-generation group with strong SNS reach and individual member identities that don't collapse into one uniform image — which is exactly the brief VDL gave. The brand's philosophy leans experimental and expressive with color, and the group's whole thing is that each member has a distinct mood even within a cohesive team aesthetic. It's a tighter conceptual fit than the usual "pretty idol, pretty product" deal.
