We asked 14 K-beauty editors who do backstage prep at Music Bank / M Countdown which snail essences they actually keep restocking — not which ones brands seed them.
Tier S. COSRX Advanced Snail 96. Unanimous across 11/14 editors. Reasons: cheap, no fragrance, plays well under any base.
Tier A. Mizon All In One Snail Cream — for drier skin, doubles as a moisturiser.
Tier B. Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng — gorgeous but the editors who use it usually do because their idol client is contracted to the line.
Tier C — the overhyped one. Benton Snail Bee. Three editors said the smell alone kills it for them under hot stage lights.
