ITZY confirmed as headliners for Morocco's Mawazine Festival, set to perform on main stage

ITZY will take part as headliners at a world-renowned music festival.

On May 22, JYP Entertainment announced, “ITZY will headline the ‘Mawazine’ music festival taking place in Morocco on June 23.”

The Mawazine festival is a global music event that has been held since 2001. International artists have participated over the years, including Will Smith and Becky G.

This marks ITZY’s first appearance at the Mawazine festival. Despite being first-time performers, they were selected as headliners and will perform on the festival’s main stage, OLM Souissi.

A representative shared, “With their outstanding dance skills and signature stage energy, ITZY is expected to connect with global audiences and further expand their presence as ‘performance queens.’”

Meanwhile, ITZY recently made their comeback with their 12th mini album, 'Motto.' The group will also release a remix version of the title track later today.
