BBGIRLS return with 'BODY WAVE' after 1 year and 2 months, music show stages this week
BBGIRLS—Min-young, Eun-ji, and Yu-na—released 'BODY WAVE' on July 16, their first comeback in over a year. They're hitting music broadcasts this week.
BBGIRLS are back. The trio dropped BODY WAVE on July 16, marking their first comeback in 1 year and 2 months. They'll perform it on music broadcasts all week.
Tropical synth meets mombaton rhythm. Min-young co-produced and co-wrote the track, sang on the chorus, and cast the entire music video herself. Eun-ji and Yu-na helped assemble the rest of the crew.
The cameo roster reads like a guest list: broadcaster Kwon Hyuk-soo, comedian Hong Sung-hyun, Bae Seul-ki, Kkwachu-hyung, Mac Daddy, James (자메즈), Jung Dae-jin, Park Won-sik, Moon Si-woon, and Choi Ji-myung. Min-young clearly called in every favor she had.
The group started as Brave Girls in 2011 with tracks like 변했어, HIGH HEELS, and We Ride. Then Rollin' dropped in 2017 and went viral in 2021. They became BBGIRLS in 2023 and released the double single ONE MORE TIME that year. BODY WAVE is what comes next.
