MBC's new daily drama '가족관계증명서' held its production presentation on July 2. Han Go-eun and Park Se-young discuss their on-screen mother-daughter bond.

MBC's new daily drama 가족관계증명서 (Family Certificate) held its production presentation on the afternoon of July 2 at Golden Mouse Hall in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The drama premieres on July 6 as the successor to 첫 번째 남자.
PD Kim Mi-suk appeared alongside actors Park Se-young, Han Go-eun, Lim Ji-eun, Sung Yi-eon, and Park Sol-la.
The story centers on a child branded from birth as the one who destroyed a family. A woman fights the world's prejudice and a harsh fate to protect her own life.
Han Go-eun, 51, plays Na Se-ri. She's a cellist with the National Symphony Orchestra and mother to Park Se-young's Na Ji-ni. On the surface: brilliant career, exceptional performance skills. Underneath: secrets and anxiety Na Se-ri can't share with anyone.
Han Go-eun didn't hold back about the early days with her on-screen daughter. "Se-young and I both have MBTI I tendencies, so we were shy at first. But just making eye contact made my heart ache," she said. Every time their eyes meet, Ji-ni cries. Despite being only in the early stages of filming, the two are "walking together with good chemistry."
Park Se-young met her energy. "The senior is so beautiful — I wondered if someone this beautiful could be my mother," she said. "But while filming, my heart moved quickly. I'm not usually someone who cries much, but strangely the emotions really hit me."
(Two introverts, one cellist mother, one daughter with a complicated origin story — the setup is doing a lot of work before episode one even airs.)
