Yoo Seung-ho, 12 others join 'Chaebol X Detective 2' special appearance lineup ahead of August 7 premiere

Chaebol X Detective 2 premieres August 7 at 9:50 PM. SBS just revealed the full guest cast: 13 names, led by Yoo Seung-ho.

Yoo Seung-ho plays Yu Seong-won, a new chaebol in Season 2. He joins An Bo-hyun as wealthy detective Jin Yi-soo and Jung Eun-chae as Ju Hye-ra, the new Major Crimes Unit 1 team leader at Gangha Police Station. Kang Sang-joon is Park Jun-young. Kim Shin-bi is Choi Kyung-jin, also in the unit.

Kim Ui-sung, who had a cameo in Season 1's first episode, returns for Season 2. The rest of the guest lineup includes Park So-i, Lee Hak-ju, Choi Deok-mun, Lee Seok, Son Woo-hyun, Heo Sung-tae, Jung Chae-yeon, Jeon Hye-bin, Ju Hyun-young, Min Kyung-a, and Kim Hye-eun. An opening credit teaser with the main cast and Yoo Seung-ho dropped July 10.

The production team addressed Season 1's pattern directly. "In Season 2, we put careful effort into episode-by-episode casting to twist the formula of 'famous actor cameo = criminal,'" they said. (So don't assume the guest star did it.) They added they hope viewers "will enjoy the fun of deducing the criminal along with Gangha Station's Major Crimes Unit 1."
