KBS2's 'The Completion of Marriage' hits Disney+ Korea #1 after just two episodes

Two episodes in, The Completion of Marriage is already making noise.

The KBS2 weekend mini-series premiered on July 4 with a 4.4% nationwide viewership rating. Episode 2 the next day climbed to 6.4% (Nielsen Korea), landing the show at No. 1 on Disney+'s "Today's Korean TOP 10 Series" global chart.

Nam Goong-min plays Kang Tae-joo, a neurosurgeon and director of Woori Together Hospital. His marriage to Go Se-yoon (Lee Seol) is already falling apart. The real threat is Noh Man-hee, played by Kim Dae-myung—a man who runs an after-school computer study room but has kidnapped Kang Tae-joo's wife and is extorting him for 1 billion won.

Episode 2 ends on a sharp turn. Noh Man-hee hands police a video of a drunk Kang Tae-joo saying "Please get rid of my wife." The suspect dynamic flips entirely. What looked like a kidnapping now reads like a frame job.

Lee Sang-hee plays Kim Kyung-ae. Park Byung-eun plays Lee Soo-hyung. Kim Jung-hyun directs.

The Completion of Marriage airs every weekend at 9:20 PM on KBS2.
