신입사원 강회장 wraps: Lee Ju-myeong, Lee Jun-young, Jeon Hye-jin, Jin-gu share final words

JTBC's 신입사원 강회장 closed out its run on July 5 at 10:30 PM. Lee Ju-myeong, Lee Jun-young, Jeon Hye-jin, and Jin-gu each posted goodbye messages ahead of the finale.

Lee Ju-myeong plays Kang Bang-geul, the hidden youngest daughter of Choi Sung Group chairman Kang Yong-ho who enters the company as an intern while concealing her identity. She posted outdoor photos with a male co-star in a suit: "You'll watch until today's last broadcast, right? Our beloved team + Kang Bbang-geul."

In her formal statement, she said: "I will remember the courage and strength of the Kang Bang-geul character for a long time," adding that every moment spent building the show together would stay with her as a precious memory.

Lee Jun-young, who plays Hwang Jun-hyun, noted he was heading into military service after filming. He thanked director Ko Hye-jin, the production staff, and senior cast members for the experience. Jeon Hye-jin took a lighter tone as Kang Jae-gyeong, thanking viewers who "cherished the show and hated the Kang Jae-gyeong character" and asking them to stick around for the finale. Jin-gu, playing Kang Jae-sung, said he watched the finished episodes as a viewer himself, feeling deep empathy for the effort visible in every scene.

The previous episode left Hwang Jun-hyun unconscious after an attack by Tae-ha Group chairman Na Byung-mo (Jung Jae-sung). Choi Sung Group chairman Kang Yong-ho (Son Hyun-joo) appeared before Kang Jae-gyeong, setting up an unpredictable finale.

The drama was created by Kim Sun-ok, written by Hyun Ji-min, directed by Ko Hye-jin, and produced by SLL and Corpus Korea, based on an original work by San-gyeong.

Lee Ju-myeong, 31, from Haeundae-gu, Busan, started her acting career in 2016 in the music video Who's Got You Singing Again by band PREP. She won three rookie awards in a single year for the film 파일럿: Best New Actress at the Seoul International Film Festival, the Excellence Award at the Korea Culture & Entertainment Awards, and Best New Actress at the Woman Filmmaker of the Year awards. She has appeared in tvN's 스물다섯 스물하나 (as Ji Seung-wan), ENA's 모래에도 꽃이 핀다 (dual roles Oh Yu-gyeong and Oh Du-sik), and JTBC's 마이 유스 (as Mo Tae-rin). She signed with Alien Company on August 19, 2024.
