TWS debut track hits 200M YouTube Music streams, only 5th-gen boy group to reach the mark

TWS's debut title track 첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아 crossed 200 million cumulative plays on YouTube Music. The six-member group is the only fifth-generation K-pop boy group to reach that figure on the platform.
Released January 22, 2024 as the lead single from their first mini album Sparkling Blue, the track hit 100 million YouTube Music streams last July. It doubled that count within a year. On Spotify, it became TWS's first song to clear 100 million plays—115.73 million as of the 12th.
Domestically, the song has not fallen off the daily charts on Melon, Genie Music, or Bugs for a single day since release. It finished 2024 at the top of Melon's annual chart. Billboard and NME both named it one of the best K-pop songs of 2024. Billboard called it "the song that made TWS 2024's best rookie."
The group is mid-tour. Their first Asia tour, 24/7:FOR:YOU, opened in Seoul at KSPO DOME last month—their first time at the venue since debut—with all seats sold and roughly 18,000 in attendance. A Macau date also sold out.
Japanese single 2nd album SODA SODA drops August 4. Japan tour dates follow in Fukuoka (August 28–30), Hyogo, and Kanagawa. After Japan, the tour continues through Macau, Bangkok, Singapore, and Kaohsiung.
